The Memmert UF TS pass-through oven is built for contamination-free material transfer between zones of differing cleanliness — typically from grey room to cleanroom. It is based on the standard UFplus heating oven but adapted to cleanroom requirements with doors on both sides and advanced control technology.

Contamination-free material transfer
With doors on both sides, the UF TS works as an effective material lock — load from the grey room side, heat and dry, unload on the cleanroom side. Cross-contamination and particle transfer are substantially reduced.

Built on Memmert’s proven UFplus platform
The UF TS uses the standard UFplus heating oven platform, with product-specific heating via a ceramic-metal sheathed element and deep-drawn ribs. The same reliability and precision, adapted to cleanroom requirements.

Forced air circulation combined with all-round surface heating gives even temperature distribution throughout the chamber, even with frequent opening and closing of the doors.

Fast recovery times
After a door is opened, the UF TS restores temperature equilibrium quickly — critical to production flow in cleanroom operations.

Pre-heated fresh air
An electronically adjustable air flap admits pre-heated fresh air, giving controlled air quality inside the chamber during the process.

Configurable to your installation
The UF TS can be supplied with a range of options: full-sight glass door, entry ports, a locking mechanism preventing both doors from opening at once, a process-dependent electromagnetic door lock, external Pt100 sensors and FDA-compliant AtmoCONTROL. Contact us for individual solutions.

Frequently Asked Questions

The UF TS is identical to the UFplus in technology and performance, but has doors on both sides — one facing the grey room and one facing the cleanroom. That turns it into a material lock where materials can be heat-treated and transferred without the two zones coming into direct contact. All UF TS models are supplied with TwinDISPLAY only.

No, and that is an important safety function. Option D5, a locking mechanism preventing simultaneous opening, ensures only one door can be opened at a time — essential to cleanroom integrity. It requires door-open recognition (option V5). Alternatively, the process-dependent electromagnetic door lock (option D4) gives programme-controlled locking.

Yes. The UF TS is designed for cleanroom use and can be supplied with a flush-fit unit for tight integration into a cleanroom wall without air leakage. Contact us for technical clarification and matching to your cleanroom classification.

Sizes 160 and 260 run on 230 V / 50–60 Hz. Sizes 450 and 750 require 400 V three-phase with a CEE plug and will not run from a standard socket. This should be settled with an electrician before installation.

Yes. Memmert offers complete IQ/OQ documentation with device-specific test data for one freely selectable temperature value, including a temperature distribution survey at 27 measuring points to DIN 12880:2007-05. A PQ checklist for customer validation is included. On-site IQ/OQ can also be ordered.
