Powered by the sophisticated Advanced Peltier Technology from Memmert, the IPPeco is the most energy-efficient and, simultaneously, the most powerful cooled incubator of its kind. Compared to similar appliances, its heat-up, cool down and recovery times are much shorter. The Peltier-cooled incubator from Memmert saves on operating costs, ensures sample quality and makes work in a microbiological laboratory significantly more efficient. Common applications are microbiological analyses, bacterial count determination, cultivation above & below room temperature, beer stability accelerated aging test, or shelf life tests of dairy products.

Unique temperature homogeneity

The Advanced Peltier Technology of the cooled incubator IPP eco ensures an extremely sensitive temperature control with the smallest control fluctuations to guarantee unique temperature homogeneity. The interior is completely closed off from the surroundings. The advantages for you: minimum risk of the sample drying out and condensation forming during the cooling process occurs outside of the working chamber on the Peltier element. Since the cooling incubator IPPeco does not require a compressor, it saves valuable space in the laboratory and works with unmatched quiet and low vibrations.

The Memmert IPPeco is built for laboratories that need to incubate samples below room temperature — without compressor noise and with minimal energy consumption. Typical applications include:

Advantages

Advanced Peltier technology — no compressor
The IPPeco uses Peltier elements instead of a compressor. That means no compressor noise and no vibration at all — critical for sensitive biological cultures and samples affected by mechanical disturbance.

Unmatched energy efficiency
Compared with equivalent compressor-cooled incubators, the IPPeco draws considerably less power — as little as 140 W on the smallest models. Lower running costs and reduced environmental impact.

Fastest heat-up, cool-down and recovery times in its class
Advanced Peltier Technology gives shorter response times than competing products, which translates directly into laboratory productivity.

Condensation outside the chamber
The design ensures condensation forms on the Peltier element outside the working chamber, not inside it. This reduces the risk of sample contamination and removes the need for defrost cycles.

Double doors as standard
An inner glass door and an outer insulated steel door give a full view of the chamber without a temperature drop during inspection. Sizes 1400 and 2200 add heated glass panes in the door to prevent condensation on the glass.

Extremely quiet operation
With no compressor, the IPPeco runs at minimal noise and vibration levels — ideal for office laboratories, open-plan labs and any environment with acoustic requirements.

Nine sizes — from 32 to 2140 litres
From compact benchtop units (IPP30, IPP55) to large floor-standing models (IPP2200eco), the range covers everything from routine analysis to large industrial capacity.

Optional light module
TwinDISPLAY models can be fitted with a programmable LED light module (cold white, warm white or a combination) for light-controlled incubation and plant growth trials.

The IPPeco uses Peltier elements instead of a compressor. That gives a complete absence of compressor noise and vibration, considerably lower energy consumption and faster response times. The trade-off is that Peltier technology is best suited to moderate cooling — the temperature range is 0 °C to +70 °C. For temperatures down to −12 °C, Memmert offers the compressor-cooled incubator ICPeco.

No, and that is one of the IPPeco’s most important advantages. Condensation forms on the Peltier element, which sits outside the working chamber. The chamber stays dry, which reduces the risk of sample contamination and removes the need for defrost cycles.

Yes, but only on TwinDISPLAY models fitted with the light module (option T7, T8 or T9). The module is programmable with dimming from 0 to 100 % and can be combined with temperature ramps to simulate day/night cycles. Sizes 110, 260, 410 and 750 support the light module.

Sizes 410, 750 and 1060 come with lockable castors as standard. Sizes 1400 and 2200 come with height-adjustable lockable castors. The smaller models (30, 55, 110, 260) come with feet and can be fitted with a castor frame (option R9) or a subframe.

Yes. The inner glass door gives a clear view of the chamber without opening the insulating outer door. Sizes 1400 and 2200 also have heated glass panes that prevent condensation on the glass, so the view stays clear even at low temperatures.
